100 weddings later, we really do have the best connections with our vendors. Getting to catch up with them and be inspired by their work is often the highlight of our day!

Here’s a list of people who make our faces light up when we see them on the vendor list, and who we would personally hire if we did everything over again. This list will definitely evolve as we make new connections.

Planner

• Bella Sposa Events
  • Okay first off, these girls will walk in looking so cute but of course that is besides the point LOL. I have always been impressed with how on top of everything they are day-of. Things run smoother when Bella Sposa is there, and that really is the most important thing.
• For the Love of Events
  • I have become great friends with Amanda and her associate Heather over time! Amanda is a boss and will make you feel comfortable, while also hustling to take care of every detail.

Stationery and Signage

Andi Mejia Co – We love this team and we love seeing and capturing the work they create on wedding days! Their work will make your venue feel so much more like you and will create a fun experience for your guests to enjoy. I’d say they make things feel like “a moment”.

Hair and Makeup

Makeup by Taylor Thomas – I have been so impressed by her kindness as a person, and her talent is unreal. The brides who hire her just get it. She’s so good! She has her signature angel glam, ultra modern, love!!

If you want full glam, we have worked with Kiss and Makeup and this is what I would call more like a transformation, full-glam look.

Catering

Table Top Catering – Best dinner we have ever had at a wedding, and so kind. I would be so happy to have them at every wedding!

Florals

• Flower Smith – first off, Ali is SO nice. You will really enjoy working with her. I found out about them because one of my brides literally said “my inspiration for my wedding is flowersmith” and I was like hmmm what? But now I get it! Her work feels so girly and sweet.

• Baughaus – the work we have seen from them is unique and feels very organic. More focused on feeling natural and clean.

Truly make a wedding feel like an event. Guests are always taken on a branded journey when their work is present. They understand your vision and make it happen – custom signage, tablescapes, sitting areas, we love it all.

Photography

So hard to pick just one because we spend the most time with your photo team on wedding day. Choosing a photographer is such a personal choice because everyone is drawn to a different aesthetic.

We like to give our couples options because of this, but one thing all of these brands have in common is that they are kind, easy to work with, and elevate your wedding day instead of adding stress. This is so important so that we can do our job, too!

• Johanna Oakes Photography (bright and airy)
  • Simply the nicest person I get to work with. I look forward to seeing her because she brings such a calming presence but gets things done so couples can have the best day. Her sneak peeks are sent out at lightning speed, which our couples love. Plus she’s from France, so she is automatically cooler!!

• Abigail Capellini Photography
  • She has such a unique eye that I love – her work feels fresh and full of emotion. Lots of black and white and clean editing.

• Kartsie Photography (true to color, vivid)
  • Their work has inspired us lately and you can tell that their brand is on point. Every couple that works with them just looks like a Kartsie couple. They make wedding days feel so fun and celebratory and truly bring the mood up!

Stephanie Velez is someone else you should check out if your date is further out. She books fast but weddings with her team are always amazing. Her vibe is very romantic and the most editorial out of any of our recommendations.

Cake

Morgan Hunter Desserts – she will always be my top recommendation, such talent! Modern, tasty, and custom to each wedding. I am always excited to see what her team will come up with!

DJs

• If you want to bring in the party: DJ Rey – this guy can truly make any crowd dance. When he’s around, we have no doubt that the reception is going to get crazy fun!
• If you want to have special effects:
  • I Rock Your Party
    • They have some of the coolest setups we have seen! Their LED light walls, fun photo booth ideas, etc – always keeping the ideas fresh and fun.

Venue

This is so personal preference, but these are our top venues, taking into consideration organization, staff, and aesthetics.

  • Outdoor receptions are one of our favorite things. The lighting during sunset is so pretty and makes the video shine.

  • There’s nothing like having a party in the middle of downtown Orlando! So many portrait options. We love the blank slate inside that florists and designers can work their magic in.
