A lot of wedding videography businesses are full of educated guesswork. I have a good idea of what goes viral, but there are so many *potential* “moments” that we just have to put work out there and see what sticks.
Watching our bride Kayleigh’s grandma walk out in place of a flower girl made me (Jocelyn) tear up. It affected me personally and stuck with me after the wedding and into the edit. I almost had their rough draft done when I paused and asked myself, “Where is grandma?!” I hadn’t put her in the film yet! After watching the moment back, I just immediately put that piece of the ceremony on TikTok. It slowly picked up speed and got about 1 million views. That was enough for us, until some news people saw our video and reached out about trying to get it more exposure.
A few weeks went by, and all of a sudden our bride saw our video on ABC World News Nightly with David Muir. It was cracking us up thinking about a news anchor watching our video and describing it in their news lingo. We loved it!

Soon after, USA Today went ahead with the story as well.
